Google and Apple have had a non- poach agreement over the years. This agreement with Google and Apple stated that neither company could try to poach employees from each other. The agreement between Google and Apple was not a written one. Instead it was a handshake between the two top men of the companies.
If either person leaves it could mean that the Google and Apple agreement will come to an end. It is not clear if this would happen since it makes sense not to poach. By not poaching there is a better working relationship between the two companies. Yet, the DOJ may not like the Google and Apple agreement, which could mean investigations will be forthcoming regarding both companies and their agreement.
