In 2007 Apple kicked off their Worldwide Developers Conference with Steve Jobs heading the keynote speeches and conference.  The event was five days in length during June.  They offered 150 different sessions on new products, products in the development stage, and what might be coming next.  Animation, graphics, and web based content was all part of the conference.

The most important product from Apple in 2007 was their iPhone.  The iPhone was released on June 29, 2007.  It is unlike any other phone on the market with the multimedia GSM smartphone design and multi-touch screen.  Apple is the first company to make the smallest multi- touch screen and virtual keyboard. The company also launched an update to the MacBook Pro.  They finally offered a 15 inch screen on the new model.  The new notebook is mercury free and supposed to be better for the environment.  The iPod also gained more prominence with a few updates.  In fact more individuals bought iPods with the nano technology in 2007.  Steve Jobs stated 2007 would be the most exciting year ever when it came to new products.
