Web Companies

Web companies have exploded since the introduction of dot com companies.  While many of the dot com companies have failed, there are hundreds of web companies that have survived.  These companies sell services or products to the consumer. They market their websites to gain the attention of the consumer in a number of different ways.  Web 2.0 is a program designed to help create websites. The program allows the use of flash, 3D animation, and much more to design a website that will appeal to the mass market.

A.P. was one of the first web companies to use Web 2.0.  The Associated Press did make a few errors as have others in using the product.  Still on the whole using the program has helped generate the proper design.  Too often the web companies use flash as a way to enhance the page, but they do so in an “overkill” method in which they use the flash elements too much.

Designing web companies requires a person to create a fine line between the consumer wants and needs on the page with search engine optimization.  Web 2.0 helps in the design portion only so much.  The program cannot tell the web developer not to use certain options.  A successful web company is able to market their page and make it easy for the consumer to use.  Web companies have to use all products available to them in order to succeed.  Most of all any company on the web needs to be innovative with their design.
